A. Yes. Just scan the item once more into your inventory and repeat the listing process. Half.com will automatically recognize the same ISBN or UPC number and add a second matching item to your online inventory.
A. You will receive an email from Half.com once an item sells. It will also be listed in your account sales summary page when you login to Half.com. Once any inventory item sells, the Refresh option under the Listing menu will move the item from the Active Listings tab to the Sold Items.
A. Currently, ScanLister only works with Half.com. The next release will allow you to list directly to Ebay. A plug-in is currently under development that will allow your items to be uploaded to Amazon.com. This updated version will be free to all existing customers.
A. ScanLister uses the latest software from Microsoft to assure the highest levels of security and efficiency for all online communication. The .NET Framework will need to be installed prior to the installation of ScanLister.
A. There is a known bug with some versions of Windows Vista. A new version will be released soon resolving this issue. Here is a workaround to get it going:
1) Go to your C drive and open up your Program Files folder
2) Open up the ScanLister folder
3) Right click on the ScanLister file (the one with barcode icon) and choose Run As Administrator
It will ask you to confirm your choice and then ScanLister should run normally.
