How do I price my Items using ScanLister?
There are a few options.

1)  You can use a repricer to automatically price your items. Repriceit.com is a very good program and it starts at $10/month.

2)  You can manual reprice your items on your Amazon seller account after using ScanLister.

3)  You can use our detailed listing option to price while you list.

Can I change the information after it is scanned into ScanLister?
Yes, you can edit the condition, condition notes, price, SKU number, etc.
Can I use ScanLister on more than one computer?
Yes. After you make the purchase, you will receive five license keys. Therefore, you can use ScanLister on up to five computers.
Does the scanner that's shown in the video come with the software?
No, the desktop scanner is sold separately. Any desktop scanner with a USB cord will work. The one in the video is called the Motorola Symbol LS2208 Scanner. A less expensive option is the Taotronics TT-BS003 which you can get for around $35 on Amazon.
I am a Merchant Fulfilled seller. Can I still use ScanLister?
Absolutely. Many ScanLister users are merchant fulfilled sellers. We also have a Merchant Fulfilled Ticket System to help you located your sales on your book shelves.
Is it possible to use this software without scanner and manually input the ISBN numbers?
Yes, you can manually type in the ISBN, UPC, or ASIN number. We also have a batch listing feature where you can import many ISBN numbers from a spreadsheet.
What if a book does not have a barcode or an ISBN number?
Search for the exact title on Amazon’s site. Find the ASIN number on the product page and copy & paste that into ScanLister.

Or if you are using the Windows version, you can use our new “search by keyword” function.

Does ScanLister work on other Amazon marketplace outside the US?
Yes, ScanLister works on Amazon US, UK, Canada, France, Germany, and Spain.
When I click on the "List on Amazon" button my items are not showing up in my inventory. Any suggestions?
Please check the upload status on your Amazon account. Go to inventory — add product via upload — monitor upload status. Check and see if there were any errors. If any errors, please send us the processing report so we can diagnose.

I'm getting the following error message, "Request signature is too far in the future..." How do I fix this?
Please make sure the time, date, and time zone on your computer are correct.
When I scan the barcode of a paperback book, the wrong title shows up on ScanLister.
If you are scanning a mass market paperback book (the small pocket size ones), please scan the barcode on the inside of the front cover. The barcode on the back of the book will not work.
My FBA Labels are not printing the in the same order that I listed them. What am I doing wrong?
f you are an FBA seller and you want your labels to print in the same order that you listed them, you will need to adjust your SKU. Amazon sorts the SKUs in your FBA shipment alpha-numerically. In other words, you will want your sequence near the beginning of the SKU.

In this example, the FBA labels will print out in the same order as listed since supplier is constant and the sequence is next.


However, if you put in the condition in the beginning, the labels will print out in a different order:


In this case, Amazon will sort the SKU that starts with “A” first.

How do I connect ScanLister to my Amazon account?

How do I cancel my ScanLister subscription?
A.  If you are using PayPal, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Profile icon next to “Log Out” and select Profile and settings.
  2. Select My money.
  3. In the Automatic payments section, click Manage automatic payments.
  4. Select the “Book to the Future, Inc. (ScanLister)”.
  5. Click Cancel Profile to confirm your request.


B.  If you are using a debit/credit card, and you are currently during the free trial period of ScanLister.  Please send us an email at info@ScanLister.com and request to cancel your account.


C.  If you are using a debit/credit card and you have made at least one payment, you can cancel the subscription by reading this blog post.  Or you can email us and request to cancel your account.

I'm currently a subscriber, but I would like to purchase the lifetime version. How do I do this?
Please purchase the lifetime payment option on our sales page.  Then send us an email stating that you would like to switch.  After the purchase is made, we will cancel your subscription and you can continue using ScanLister like you normally do. No need to re-download or change license keys.
