What’s Better

Modern Customer Portal
You’ll now have access to a fully updated account dashboard where you can:

  • Manage your subscription
  • Update billing information
  • Cancel anytime

Self-Service License Key Management
You can now:

  • Deactivate a license from one computer
  • Reactivate it on another

No more emailing support just to switch devices.

What’s Changing

Billing Description
Your credit card statement will now show something like:
“Freemius* ScanLister”

Sales Tax & VAT (If Applicable)

Depending on your location, applicable sales tax or VAT may now be added to your subscription.

In some cases, this may increase your total charge slightly.

This is not a price increase from ScanLister—it’s tax required by local laws and is now automatically calculated and collected through our payment provider, Freemius.

Previously, these taxes were not always applied automatically. With this upgrade, everything is handled in a compliant and standardized way.

For UK/EU customers:
If you are a business customer with a valid VAT number, you can add it to your account to avoid being charged VAT.

What You Don’t Need to Do

Nothing.

Your subscription will continue as normal, and we’ll handle the transition on the backend.
